A gambler broke records by claiming the largest amount won from a British bookmaker after winning more than £2 million on an online fruit machine.  It is understood that the winner, who placed a 50p bet on November 12, had only just opened an account with the bookmakers with an offer to receive £10 in free bets when he made a deposit of £10.
